February in St. Peter by Roberto Corradini (Italy)

It was a sunny Sunday morning in February, when I entered the St. Peter Basilica in Rome. The light from southeast hit the statue of Saint Maria Maddalena Sofia Barat, sculpted between 1932 and 1934 by Enrico Quattrini (1869 – 1950). After the surprise, I closed my mouth and took the shot.
